The Nigeria Women Football League has announced a new date for the upcoming Super Four which is billed to take place in Benin City, Edo state.

The Super Four happens to be the annual season football event where the ultimate winners of the just concluded NWFL will emerge.

The showpiece which was earlier scheduled for September 11-16, will now hold between October 9-14, where defending champions Rivers Angels will bid retain their title.

The Port Harcourt-based club will confront Bayelsa Queens, Nasarawa Amazons and Delta Queens for the league title and the bragging rights.

The competing clubs are expected to arrive in Benin City on October 7, as they will use the days in between to train and prepare for the finals which kicks off October 9 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium
