Osun Babes, Delta Queens and Heartland Queens were the biggest winners of the day as the race to qualify for the season main event, Super Four continues.

At the Oshogbo Township Stadium, Mary Anjor stood out on her debut appearance in the NWFL, scoring a brace on the 5th and 26th minutes as Osun Babes beat Saadatu Kolo Amazons 4-1.

Kemi Abiodun and Precious Edewor who grabbed her fourth goal of the term, completed the rout for the hosts; while Alvin Dahz netted for her team.

In Owerri, Ugo Best scored the fastest goal of the current term after three minutes from the penalty spot in Heartland Queens' 2-1 defeat of Ibom Angels.

Maduerosi Chineye provided the match winner for the homers in the second half of the game, after Charity Reuben had drew level, her sixth league goal.

Elsewhere, defender Blessing Edoho hit the net on the 30th minute as Pelican Stars pipped visitors Edo Queens by a slim 1-0.

Sunshine Queens avenged their loss to Robo Queens recently with a 1-0 win over the Lagos-based club courtesy of Winifred Eyebhoria's solitary strike.

Rosemary Okezie and Remilekun Omamuli goals were all Delta Queens needed to beat a resilient Nasarawa Amazons 2-1 at the Kwale Township Stadium.

Two matches will be decided tomorrow when Bayelsa Queens confronts group leaders Rivers Angels in what promises to be an interesting tie.

While Adamawa Queens takes on Confluence Queens of Kogi in the last encounter of match day eight of the Nigerian women's football topflight league.
