World football governing body FIFA yesterday released the match schedule for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.

 According to FIFA.com, Paris will host the competition’s opening match on 7 June, followed by round-of-16 matches (22-25 June) in Valenciennes, Le Havre, Reims, Paris, Rennes, Grenoble, Nice and Montpellier.

The quarterfinal matches will be played in Valenciennes, Le Harve, Paris, Rennes from June 27-29; while the semifinal matches takes place in Lyon between 2-3 July.

The third place match will be contested in Nice on July 6, with final of the FIFA Women's World Cup, the eighth edition, billed to hold in Lyon on July 7.
