Nigerian midfielder Rita Chikwelu grabbed a hat-trick as Kristianstad DFF hammered Qviding 7-0 in a Swedish women's cup group match over the weekend.

Chikwelu scored her first goal on the 22nd minute to increase Kristianstad's lead to 4-0 after Becky Edwards, Amanda Edgren and her compatriot Ogonna Chukwudi had found the net earlier in the game.

Her second goal was a brilliant effort, shooting from a distance which the keeper had no answer to before she completed her hat-trick by dribbling past Qviding's defenders to slot the ball home.

Elsewhere, Falcons defender Osinachi Ohale lasted the entire duration as Vittsjo GIK suffered a 3-0 away defeat at Rosengård.

29-year-old Danish international Sanne Troelsgaard was the player of the match after netting thrice; on the 40th, 65th and 75th minutes respectively to put Vittsjo to the sword.

Ngozi Okobi suited up for Eskilstuna United in their 2-1 win over Uppsala in the Swedish women's cup at the Tunavallen stadium on Friday.

Loretta Kullashi hit a second half double on 63rd and 70th minutes to cancel out Beata Olsson's first half opener for the visiting team.

In other encounters, Faith Ikidi's Pitea IF were 2-0 winners over KIF Orebro courtesy of Julia Karlenas and Selina Henriksson's goals.

While former Nigeria junior international Sarah Michael saw 75 minutes of action as Lidköping were beaten 6-0 by visitors Göteborg.

Olivia Charlotta and Rebecka Blomqvist scored two goals apiece; combined with strikes each from Elina Johanna and Adelina Engman.
