Following her impressive outings for Washington Spirit of lately, Nigerian forward Francisca Ordega has been recognised by the NWSL Media Association.
Ordega who has been making the headlines in USA, was named in the National Women Soccer League (NWSL) Team of the Month for April after she found the net in each of Washington's three matches last month.
She went on a three-game goalscoring spree, having scored in her team's 4-2 loss to North Carolina Courage on April 15, 1-1 draw with Portland Thorns on April 21 and another 1-1 stalemate with Chicago Red Stars on April 29.
The Super Falcons star has also contributed on the defensive side of the ball with 11 tackles won; as Washington Spirit recorded one win, two loses and two draws in their first-five games of the campaign.
Franny as she is fondly called, will be hoping to continue with her goalscoring form when her team faces winless Utah Royals in an away encounter billed for Sunday, April 6.
