As part of their preparations for this year's FIFA U20 Women World Cup, Ghana's Black Princesses have been invited to take part in two invitational tournaments.

The Princesses, one of Africa's representatives at the World Cup in France, will travel to Singapore for the Kubber Challenge Cup from June 11-18.

Coach Yusif Basigi's team will also move to China for another invitational tournament slated for July 1-9 before the world cup finals begins in August.

They have been in camp at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence, perfecting strategies for the global biennial women's soccer championship.

They recently commenced their training programme following a setback after Basigi revealed that there was shortage of foods for the players to eat in camp.

Ghana qualified for the World Cup with a 4-1 aggregate victory over Cameroon during the final round of the continental qualifiers early this year.

And they have been pitted along with hosts France, Netherlands and New Zealand in Group A of the mundial holding between August 5 to 24.
