Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has been tasked with convincing his international teammate Kenneth Omeruo to joining Trabzonspor this summer.
Omeruo is wanted by Trabzonspor who have Onazi on their payroll and the Turkish club recently tabled an offer for the Nigerian defender.
Taka Gazette, Trabzon based newspaper, claims that Chelsea the parent club of Omeruo have welcomed the Black Sea Storm's loan offer for the 24-year-old.
He signed for the London club in 2012, though, he is yet to make a single appearance for them but has played for ADO Den Haag and Middlesbrough on loan spells.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner is no stranger to the game in Turkey, having spent the last three seasons playing in the Super Lig with Kasimpasa and Alanyaapor.
Trabzonspor are looking to reinforce their defence after losing three of their center-back defenders in the past few months.
