Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has committed his future to Premier League side Leceister City by signing a new six years deal.
The new long-term contract will see the 21-year-old remain at the King Power Stadium until June 2024, the club announced on their official website.
The Nigeria international joined the Foxes in 2017 from Belgian outfit Racing Genk for £15m and has made 63 appearances across all competition, scoring 4 goals and making 5 assists.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Ndidi said: "I'm very happy to sign this contract with Leceister City. I have enjoyed every moment of my time with the Football Club, so I'm thrilled to be here for six more years.
"Together with my team-mates and our wonderful supporters, I hope we can look forward to many fantastic moments."
As fans favourite, Ndidi has been named the club's Young Player of the Year in the last two seasons and has established himself as one of the best ball tackler in the English topflight division.
He presented Nigeria at the U17 and U21 levels before earning his senior debut in October 2015 and starred in all three group games of the Eagles at this year's summer World Cup in Russia.
