The Mediterranean Knights of Libya will confront Nigeria's Super Eagles in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Algeria, said the team's spokesman.
According to Libya Observer, the managing director of the Libyan national side, Adel Al-Khumisi revealed that they have chosen to play Nigeria in the north African nation on October 13.
He further stated that the Mediterranean Knights will not be involved in any friendlies leading to their match-day three encounter in Nigeria on the 10th of October.
Libya are Group E leaders with four points, having defeated Seychelles and settled for a draw with South Africa in their opening games, while Nigeria are third with three points.
Due to a FIFA ban imposed on the country after the civil war of 2011, Libya have had to play their home matches on neutral grounds over the last five years.
They prosecuted their first fixture of the 2019 AFCON qualifying series at Petro Sport Stadium in Cairo, Egypt, where they thumped the Pirates of Seychelles 5-1.
