The draw for the European semifinal play-off ties en route the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France has been conducted.
The play-off draw took place today in Nyon, Switzerland, and it sees the Netherlands confront Denmark in a repeat of last summer UEFA Women's Euro Championship final, which the Dutch ladies won by 4-2.
Belgium will be aiming to emulate Scotland in reaching their first-ever world cup finals, when they take on Switzerland over two legs next month.
The matches will be played between October 1 and 9, with the deciding fixtures set for November 5 and 13, where the last team standing qualifies for the main event.
The overall winner will join hosts France, England, Germany, Norway, Italy, Scotland, Spain and Sweden (already qualified) as Europe's representatives at the tournament.
It is worth mentioning that Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand have booked also their respective spots during this year's Asian Women's Cup.
