Galatasaray are reportedly preparing to sign Nigerian attacker Henry Onyekuru on a permanent deal following his blistering form for the Turkish club this term.

Onyekuru has made a giant stride in his career by taking the Turkish Super Lig by storm after joining Gala on a season-long loan from Premier League outfit Everton over the summer.

The Nigeria international joined the Toffees in June 2017 in a £7m deal from Belgian side Eupen and was immediately loaned out to Anderlecht in order to gain work permit.

Since his arrival at the Türk Telecom Stadyumu in July last year, the 21-year-old has been impressive for the Turkish giants who looks set to keep him beyond his loan spell.

According to Turkish-Football, Galatasaray are considering buying the Super Eagles winger outrightly from Everton with the €12m they got from the sale of Ozan Kabak to Stuttgart.

He took his tally to nine goals in the league this campaign by scoring his first professional hat-trick in his side's 6-0 demolition of Ankaragücü last Saturday.
