Nigeria-born British boxer Anthony Joshua has won the prestigious GQ Sportsman of the Year award at the 2017 GQ Men Of The Year Awards ceremony held in London on Tuesday night.
Joshua who is a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), was presented with the accolade at the Tate Modern by actor Idris Elba to crown a stellar year so far.
The 2012 Super Heavyweight Olympics champion is undefeated in 17 bouts, has confirmed his title defence against Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev on October 28.
The bout is expected to take place in Cardiff at the Principality Stadium in front of an estimated 80,000 fans.
