There are reports that Nigeria are considering a change of date and venue for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cameroon, initially slated for the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

KweseESPN that the qualifying match could now be played on September 1st, rather than the original date of August 28.
According to insiders close to the Nigeria Football Federation, one reason for the propose change of date and venue, is to give head coach Gernot Rohr a little time to prepare his team.
Officials say the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt is one of the match venues listed as a replacement, as the AFCON qualifiers approaches.
The field at the country's capital, Abuja has fallen into disrepair but repair works are ongoing with Lansard Limited, while waiting for major renovation for the now patchwork grass pitch.
