Super Eagles home-based side will on Wednesday confront Nigeria Professional Football League champions Plateau United in their opening game at the 2017 Super Six Tournament.
The tournament which is scheduled to take place at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano state, is part of the Eagles preparations for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
Coach of the team Salisu Yusuf has brought in Chima Akas in place of defender Afeez Aremu who recently joined IK Start FC of Norway, while Nura Mohammed replaces injured Joseph Osadiaye.
The officials and players are staying at the Tahir Guest House in the ancient city since arriving on Sunday, with the importance of regaining their winning mentality prior to the CHAN finals.
The home-based Eagles will be hoping to make mark at the Super Six competition playing against the likes of MFM FC, Akwa United Enyimba FC and Kano Pillars.
While at the fifth edition of the African Nations Championship; Nigeria have been drawn against Libya, Rwanda and Equatorial Guinea in Group C.
