Yaya Toure will play for Côte d'Ivoire again after he rescinded his international retirement, so said his agent Dimitri Seluk.

Seluk took to Twitter on Tuesday to make the announcement of the Toure's decision to turn out for the Elephants, having last played for the national team in September 2016.

The 34-year-old who has won over 100 caps since making his debut in 2004, captained the Ivorian team to winning the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

He has represented his country at six AFCON tournaments in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2015 as well as three FIFA World Cup finals in 2006, 2010 and 2014.

However, his playing time at Manchester City have been limited, making just eight Premier League appearances overall after penning a one-year contract extension in the summer.
