Black Queens midfielder Elizabeth Addo has completed her transfer to National Women Soccer League (NWSL) side Seattle Reign FC.

Addo joins Seattle Reign, a two-time NWSL Shield champions from Swedish outfit Kvarnsveden following their relegation to the lower division last season.

The former Tesano Ladies playmaker who joined Kvarnsveden in 2016, scored nine goals and contributed eight assists for the club last campaign.

The 24 years old Ghanian captain becomes the third African playing in the competitive NWSL after Nigerian Francisca Ordega of Washington Spirit who is on loan at Atletico de Femenina and South Africa's Janine van Wyk of Houston Dash.

She is currenty with Black Queens who are preparing to participate in the first edition of the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) in Côte d'Ivoire next month.

She will lead Ghana in their quest for a first-ever Africa Women Cup of Nations title when they host the 2018 AWCON later this year.
