Acting coach of Ghana's Black Queens Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo has named her starting line up for today's WAFU Women's Cup opener against Côte d'Ivoire.

Belarus-based player Faustina Ampah will partner Ellen Cole, Gladys Amfobea and Janet Egyir in the defence-line of Ghana, which has Patricia Mantey in goal.

Captain Portia Boakye will lead the attack along with Priscilla Okyere; while Mavis Owusu and Juliet Acheampong will dictate play from the midfield.

The opening game will be played at the Stade Felix Houphiet Boigny in Abidjan today at 3:30pm local time, while Burkina Faso and Niger Republic will square off in the other Group A clash.
