Ghanian international Faustina Ampah has committed her future to FK Minsk after signing a contract extension with the club.
The new deal will see Ampah remain at the Stadion FK Minsk until 2019, following a successful 2017 where she helped the team to a double.
As a defender, the 21 years old scored eight times in 17 matches for Minsk last season and won the Premier League Women and Women's Cup titles with the Belarusian outfit.
She continued with her fine form for her country this year, playing a vital role during Ghana's road to success at the inaugural edition of the WAFU Women's Cup in Côte d'Iviore.
She netted the equaliser and won the Player of the Match award after Black Queens defeated fierce rivals Nigeria's Super Falcons in the semifinals of sub-regional event.
Ampah is one of the two Ghanaians to have played in the round of 32 of the UEFA Women's Champions League after Minsk lost to Slavia Prague from Czech Republic in October 2017.
She started her career in Ghana with Blessed Ladies before joining Czech Republic's Lokomotiva Brno Horni on loan and thereafter, she signed for her present club in April 2017.
