Coach Sithethelelwe Sibanda has announced his provisional squad of 31 players as Zimbabwe prepares for a two-legged African Women's Cup of Nations qualifiers against Namibia.

Zimbabwe will travel to Namibia for the first leg, first round tie on April 5 before hosting the return leg three days later at the Rufaro Stadium.

The aggregate winners will then progress to the second and final phase of the qualification campaign to face either Tanzania or Zambia.

Mighty Warriors as they are called, Zimbabwe are aiming to qualify for their fifth AWCON appearance after 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2016.

The country emerged silver medalists at the 2017 COSAFA Women's Championship on homesoil and they also featured at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The players are expected to report to camp on Monday, March 19, while sensational striker Rutendo Makore who is on loan at Spanish female side Sporting Huelva joins the team at a later date.
