Rwandan women's national team

The stage is finally set for the 2018 CECAFA Women Challenge Cup which will take place in Rwanda between the 19th to 27th of July in Kigali City.

 This year's finals suffered setback after several postponements but the games are about to begin following the release of the fixtures on Tuesday.

Five countries have confirmed their participation in the tournament which will be played in a league format to determine the ultimate winner.

And they are hosts Rwanda, defending champions Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya; with all the matches billed for Stade de Kigali.

The Harambee Starlets of Kenya will lock horns against Uganda's Crested Cranes in the opener, before Rwanda's She-Amavubi and Twiga Stars of Tanzania meets the same day.
