Nigeria international Chidiebere Nwakali could quit Manchester City this summer as the English outfit plans to loan him out for another season.
Nwakali joined City in 2015 from Shuttle Sports Academy but he is yet to be granted a work permit and as such, he cannot play for the club in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old defensive midfielder spent the last three seasons on loan at MÃ laga B, Girona, IK Start, Sogndal and Scottish side Aberdeen where he made five appearances.
However, the player is ready to end his association with the reigning English champions, despite having one year left on his contract.
''Chidi still has one year remaining on his contract with Manchester City,'' a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''But he is insisting to leave as he doesn't want to embark on another loan.''
Nwakali along with Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac Success and Taiwo Awoniyi starred at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup in U.A.E where Nigeria beat Mexico 3-0 in the final.
