Over the weekend in Ethiopia, Dedebit successfully defended their league title in grand style after they defeated Gedio Dilla.
Dedebit recorded a 3-1 win over Gedio Dilla at the Addis Ababa Stadium on Saturday to make it a hattrick of domestic league titles in the final round of matches.
The Blues, Dedebit took an early lead after some seconds into the encounter when Menderin Andehun mistakenly turned in Tigist Zewede's cross into her own net.
The lead, however, did not last long before Sara Nebessa drew the visiting side Gedio Dilla levelled from a close range after beating off her markers.
But a double from veteran forward Birtuken Gebrekristos completed the turnaround for Dedebit as the team ended the season unbeaten, amassing 44 points.
Elsewhere, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia thrashed Saint George 4-1 to finish in second place with 41 points courtesy of a brace by Howit Dengiso and goals apiece from Erehima Zerega and Bizuneh Sisay.
While Delta Force came third with 27 points following a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Adama City.
Relegated duo of Ethio-Eletric and Sidama Coffee settled for a 2-2 and a goalless draw with Dire Dawa and Hawassa City respectively.
Tiret Corporate, ArbMinch City, Addis Ababa City and Tirunesh Dibaba Academy gained promotion to the Ethiopian topflight league, where 12 clubs will feature in the 2018-19 season.
Lethal striker Loza Abera who is in Sweden for trials at lower division outfit Kungsbacka IF, for the fourth time in a row won the top scorer boot award with 17 goals.
