Coach Yusif Basigi has targeted a quarterfinal berth for Ghana at the 2018 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup which takes place in France.
Ghana, who beat Cameroon 4-1 over two legs in continental qualifiers early this year, are among 16 teams billed to participate in the global event from August 5th to 24th.
The Black Princesses are set to take part in their fifth straight U20 world cup finals, but have never reached the quarterfinals, a jinx they look to break this time around.
The Ghanian team have been pitted in Group A with hosts France, the Netherlands and New Zealand, a group Basigi and his charges will hope to conquer.
"Our objective is still to get out of the group though. We're really hoping to make it this time," the former Black Queens handler said on
