Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nasr have seen their £12m bid for Nigerian winger Ahmed Musa rejected by former Premier League champions Leicester City.

Daily Mail writes that Leicester wants to recoup the £16m they paid Russian giants CSKA Moscow for his signature two years ago.

Musa caught the attention of several European teams following his breathe-taking performance for his country during the group stages of this year's FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The 25 years old hit a brace in Nigeria's 2-0 defeat of Iceland and he has since been linked with Galatasaray, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham amongst others in the ongoing transfer window.

He spent the remainder of last season on loan at CSKA, having failed to hit the ground running in England, scoring five goals in 33 appearances.

It remains to be seen if Al Nasr will return with an improved offer for the 67 times capped Nigeria international in the coming days.
