After ending his union with CSKA Moscow, Nigerian forward Aaron Samuel is reportedly on the radar of Portuguese sides Sporting Libson and FC Porto.
The striker who struggled to earn a place in the first team at CSKA owing to fitness concerns, parted ways with the Russian outfit by mutual consent last week.
His departure from the VEB Arena has alerted several suitors and according to an online publication in Portugal, Correio da Manhã, both Libson and Porto are looking to bring the burly striker to the Primeira Liga.
Samuel initially joined Viktor Goncharenko's side on loan from Chinese club Guangzhou R&F in 2016, a move he made permanent the following year by penning a four-and-a-half-year deal.
However, he failed to make a positive impact at CSKA Moscow last season and the 24-year-old Nigeria international was sent out on loan to Amkar Perm.
He has scored 36 goals in 120 games while defending the colours of VÃ¥lerenga, Sarpsborg 08, Guangzhou, CSKA and Amkar since he moved abroad six years ago.
He will be hoping to secure a move elsewhere before August 31st, when the current transfer window officially closes.
