Ivorian ace Yaya Toure has rejoined former club Olympiakos of Greece after turning down offers from Europe, Asia and USA.

Toure became a free agent following his department from Manchester City at the end of last season, the side he won seven trophies with.

Last Tuesday, his agent Dimitry Seluk had revealed on Twitter that the 35-year-old was close to joining an unnamed London outfit after passing a medial.

The tweet further drew speculations that Toure could be heading to either Fulham, Westham United or Arsenal but Westham boss Manuel Pellegrini was quick to dismiss the claims.

Speaking on his move to the Greek giants, the four-time African Footballer of the Year said on his personal website: "It's an honour to be back at Olympiakos.

"When I left in 2006 I said I would come back and I am delighted to keep my word.

"I had offers from lot of clubs across Europe, Asia and the USA. Ultimately, I made my decision based on the special relationship I have with this incredible club.

"I am as hungry for success now as I was when I first arrived here many years ago and I cannot wait to help win the trophies the great fans of Olympiakos deserve.

"It's now time to let my football do the talking once again. Let's do this!"

During his first stint in Greece, he led Olympiakos to a double before earning moves to AS Monaco and Barcelona where he won two La Liga titles as well as a Champions League crown and a FIFA Club World Cup with the Spanish side.
