It has been reported that Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo earns more than three times the amount of any other player in Italy's Serie A.
Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in an £88m deal but has failed to hit the ground running after three league games for the defending champions.
Goalless in the early stages of his time in Turin which has attracted criticism in some quarters, the 33-year-old takes home far more than any of his club teammates or rivals.
Italian media outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport have revealed that the five-time Champions League winner receives an incredible €31m (£28m) after tax yearly, approximately £538,000 per week.
Argentina internatinal striker Gonzalo Higuain of AC Milan is second on the list with €9.5m (£8.6m per year), with a weekly salary of £165,000.
His compatriot Paulo Dybala of Juve is placed third on €7m (£6m yearly), while Miralem Pjanic and Douglas Costa completes the top five with €6.5m and €6m respectively.
