Following her exploits in the Finnish Naisten Liiga last season, South Africa striker Ode Fulutudilu has earned herself a big move to Spanish side Malaga.

Fulutudilu came through the Sasol Women's League before moving to Finland in March last year, where she made a huge stride in her career.

The 28-year-old played 23 matches across the topflight league and women's cup competition, scoring 15 goals in the process in the previous term.

The Democratic Republic of Congo-born player who chose to play for South Africa's Banyana Banyana, will hope to continue her goalscoring form in the Femenina Primera División.

And also, the forward who was last called up by coach Desiree Ellis in October 2018 for a friendly with Chile, will aim to help 13th-placed Malaga survive relegation.

She was part of the South African women's national team that participated at the 2014 Africa Women Cup of Nations in Namibia, where they finished fourth.

With the FIFA Women's World Cup holding this summer in France, Fulutudilu will look to continue playing at the top of her game, while eyeing a place in Ellis' squad for the finals.

She becomes the second Banyana Banyana player after Leandra Smeda to move from one club to another this January.
