Asisat Oshoala made a great start to her football career in Spain over the weekend with a debut goal in Barcelona impressive 4-0 defeat of Rayo Vallecano.
Playing in her first season in the Primera División Femenina on loan from Chinese side Dalian Quanjian, Oshoala came on as a second half substitute and got her name on score-sheet.
The 24-year-old replaced Alexia Putellas on 62 minute and found the net with her first touch in the game after been nicely teed up by Kheira Hamraoui to seal the emphatic win for coach Lluis Cortes' side.
Putellas, Lieke Martens and Mariona Oliver had given Barca a 3-0 lead in the first half, scoring on the 15th, 16th and 29th minutes respectively, as they remained second with 54 points, three adrift of leaders Atletico Madrid.
The Super Falcons star will look to continue her fine start in the Spanish women's topflight league with her new team when they host Sporting de Huelva next Wednesday.
The former Rivers Angels, Liverpool and Arsenal player is keen to remain in shape (full fitness) ahead of Nigeria's participation at this year's FIFA Women's World Cup in France.
