As part of efforts to intensify their readiness for next year's African Nations Championship, the home-based Super Eagles squad will spend their Christmas holidays in camp.

 The CHAN Eagles are currently camped at the Bolton White Hotels and Apartment in Abuja where they will wrap up their final preparations before leaving for Morocco in the first week of January 2018.

The team last Friday defeated Water FC of Abuja 1-0 in a preparatory game, this follows their success at the recently held NPFL Super Six Invitational Tournament in Kano state.

In a bid to reinforce the squad for the national assignment, coach Salisu Yusuf have invited Suraju Aiyeleso of Nasarawa United and Enyimba FC's Ikouwem Udoh to the team.


The CHAN 2018 will be played in Morocco between January 12 to February 4, with Nigeria confronting Libya, Rwanda and Equatorial Guinea in the group stage.
