Nigeria international Shehu Abdullahi could favour a move to Turkish outfit Trabzonspor despite been linked to Birmingham City.

 City were reportedly keen to add the 24-year-old to their squad as they look to lift themselves off the bottom of the Championship table, following a poor start this season.

The Nigerian is in the final year of his contract at Anorthosis Famagusta and the Cypriot side will look to cash in on the Super Eagles player rather than losing him for free when he sees out his deal.

Abdullahi who will be available for £500k in January, is being monitored by other Turkish clubs, although, he has not ruled out a move to England yet.

He played an important role during his country's qualification to this year's FIFA World Cup finals in Russia.
