Premier League side Liverpool are looking to sign Wilfred Ndidi after agreeing terms with the Nigeria international.
Liverpool sees Ndidi as a perfect replacement for German midfielder Emre Can who is reportedly set to join Serie A giants Juventus in the summer when his contract expires.
Guinean journalist Alpha Balde in a tweet confirms the Nigerian midfielder is likely to make a switch to Anfield, though, a fee is yet to be agreed for the Leicester City man.
"Ndidi approached by Liverpool. The player would have agreed. It remains to agree with Leicester, who asks a lot," Blade tweeted.
The Super Eagles star has been one of the standout players at King Power Stadium since his arrival in January 2017 from Belgian outfit Genk for £15m.
The 21-year-old who has been capped 14 times by his country, played a major role in Nigeria's qualification to this year's FIFA World Cup in Russia.
