Victorious Black Queens interim coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo hopes to coach a top European football club in the near future.

 Tagoe-Quarcoo led Ghana to winning the first edition of the WAFU Women's Cup after they defeated hosts Côte d'Ivoire 1-0 courtesy of Janet Egyir's first half goal.

The victory saw her become the most successful female coach in her native country and also handed Ghana a second title after the 2015 All Africa Games achievement.

And now, the ex-international player who has represented Black Queens at a FIFA World Cup, is ready to take up coaching job away from home.

"No, I don't think I have achieved all my targets yet, there is still a long way to go. Yes I have been able to officiate at the World Cup, played at the World Cup and also won a trophy as a Coach, but that is not all," she said on GTV's inquest show.

 "There is another thing, which is to Coach a top side in Europe being it male or female side.

"That is one of my ultimate goal and I pray and hope I am able to achieve that," the 44-year-old concluded.

It remains to be seen whether the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will name the former Ghanian defender as the substantive head coach of the national senior women's team.
