Saturday, the 7th of April has been set as the kick off date of the 2017-18 Nigeria Women Football League season.
Defending champions Nasarawa Amazons will host FC Robo Queens of Lagos in the opening contest of the new NWFL term, which will be played in an abridged format.
The other teams in Groups A and B will begin their campaign in the Nigerian women's topflight league on April 13th along with the newly promoted clubs.
Sure Babes of Kwara state, Jokodolu Babes from Oyo state and Taraba Queens gained promotion from the lower division last season.

Following the draw, Edo Queens will contend with Ibom Angels, Confluence Queens versus Bayelsa Queens, Taraba Queens entertains Sure Babes, while Rivers Angels welcome Delta Queens in week one of Group A ties.
Elsewhere in Group B, it's Sunshine Queens up against Abia Angels, Pelican Stars confronts Osun Babes as Adamawa Queens visits newcomers Jokodolu Babes.
