It promises to be a match to behold when the first edition of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Champions Shield is played in Lagos.
Defending champions Nasarawa Amazons and Aiteo Cup winners Rivers Angels will battle for supremacy at the scheduled NWFL Champions Shield at the Agege Stadium, popularly known as the Soccer Temple.
The NWFL Champions Shield maiden edition which is proudly sponsored and supported by the Lagos state government, will be played on Sunday, March 4 and it will usher in the new league season.
