Nigeria international Emueje Ogbiagbveha began the season on high in Belarus after grabbing a brace in FK Minsk's 3-1 win over Zorka-BDU in the Premier League Women.

In a match that recorded four goals in the first half, Ogbiagbveha hit the net on the 9th minute to give Minsk a 2-1 lead after Hanna Pilipenka had scored to cancel out Tatyana Markushevskaya's opener.

The Nigerian striker consolidated her team's performance by scoring the third goal before half time, which put the game beyond the homers Zorka-BDU.

The encounter which took place at the Stadyen RTsOP-BGU also saw Ghanian defender Faustina Ampah and Ivorian pair of Nina Kpaho and Binta Diakite turning out for the reigning league champions Minsk.

The former Nasarawa Amazons and Delta Queens attacker will be looking to add to her tally when Minsk play host to table-toppers RGUOR on Friday, April 20th.

She had a fantastic outing last term, scoring 13 goals in all competition as Minsk went on to win a double, the Women's League and Women's Cup titles.
