Ohale's Vittsjo GIK held Kristianstad DFF to a 1-1 draw, with Chikwelu and Chukwudi suiting up for the homers in a clash that took place at the Kristianstads Fotbollsarena.
After a bright start, Kristianstad broke the deadlock on the 36 minutes through Therese Ivarsson, a lead they held onto at half time.
Vittsjo drew inspiration from where they left off in the first half and equalised after the game restarted courtesy of Michelle De Jongh's goal.
Both sides, however, pushed for the winner as the match progressed but failed to convert their scoring chances, thereby ending the contest in a stalemate.
Elsewhere, Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi began the season with her new club Eskilstuna United with an away defeat to Djurgården IF.
Okobi started off from the bench, replacing Elin Rombing on the 65th minute in the team's 2-1 loss to Djurgården at the Stockholms Olympiastadion.
Mimmi Larsson scored late in the second half for the visiting team after Dutch midfielder Sheila van den Bulk had struck twice for the hosts.
Eskilstuna United will be at home to Faith Ikidi's Pitea IF in their match day 2 fixture scheduled for Sunday, April 22.
