Ajibade celebrates after scoring a goal at the 2018 WAFU Women's Cup

Head coach of Super Falcons, Thomas Dennerby has extended his invitation to five Nigeria U20 players for the senior women's team qualifying matches against Gambia.

The leading the way of the invited players are emerging star-strikers Rasheedat Ajibade and Anam Imo along with Christy Ucheibe, Glory Ogbonna and Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Except for Ajibade, the rest four players on Friday teamed up with their colleagues in camp and took part in the evening training session as Falcons continued with their preparations.

The Robo Queens captain who resumed Falconets camp last Thursday is later expected to report at the Super Falcons base where a number of home-based contingent has been perfecting strategies in Abuja.

Gambia women's national team will host the first leg qualifier on June 5 at the Bakau's Independence Stadium, with the deciding fixture taking place in Nigeria on June 11.

Nigeria who are the reigning African champions will defend their title later this year in Ghana when the tournament is played between November 14 to December 1.
