Experienced defender Onome Ebi has been recalled to Super Falcons by head coach Thomas Dennerby ahead of the 2018 Africa Women's Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ebi last played for the Falcons two years ago when Nigeria defeated hosts Cameroon 1-0 in the final match of the 2016 AWCON at the Stade Ahmadou Ahdjio.

The 34-year-old who recently signed for Chinese second-tier outfit Henan Huishang, leads nine other foreign professionals to camp as the Nigerian team prepares to face Gambia.

Swedish-based players Rita Chikwelu, Faith Ikidi, Osinachi Ohale, Josephine Chukwunonye and Ngozi Okobi makes the list and they are joined by Francisca Ordega, Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie.

The invited players are expected to start arriving camp on Tuesday, May 29 to team up with their home-based colleagues who began camping few days ago with the involvement of Ngozi Ebere of Barcelona FC Women.

Forwards: Asisat Oshoala (Dalian Quanjian, China); Desire Oparanozie (EA Guingamp, France); Francisca Ordega (Washington Spirit, USA)

Gambia will host the reigning African champions Nigeria in the first leg tie on the 5th of June at the Bakau's Independence Stadium, with the return leg taking place at the Udoukana Jacob Esuene Stadium six days later.

The overall winners will join host Ghana and six other countries for the main tournament which comes up later this year.
