Top African female soccer stars Gaelle Enganamouit of Cameroon and Tabitha Chawinga from Malawi were on goals scoring spree for their respective teams over the weekend.

Enganamouit scored twice for Avaldnes IL FC in their 2-0 defeat of Trondheims-Ørn in a league encounter as she marked her return to Europe following a one-season spell in China.

The Cameroonian who recently joined the Norwegian outfit from Chinese Women's Super League team Dalian Quanjian, netted two second half goals on the 75th and 90th minutes before she was substituted.

During her time in China, she had an underwhelming 2017 in the CWSL, having been sidelined by injury for the better part of the football season.

The former African Women's Footballer of the Year also defended the colours of Eskilstuna United and Rosengard in Sweden and emerged as the Damallsvenskan topscorer in 2015.

She became the first African female player to score a hattrick in a FIFA Women's World Cup finals when Cameroon hammered Ecuador 6-0 on June 8, 2015 in Vancouver, Canada.

In China, Malawian poster girl Chawinga grabbed her second and third goals of the campaign as she inspired Jiangsu Suning to a 5-0 drubbing of Henan.

It was her fourth appearance for Jiangsu and thereby taking her tally to three goals upon her recovery from a knee  injury she suffered while training with her team.

She is playing in her debut season in the Chinese Women's Super League following her move from Swedish side Kvarnsvenden who got relegated to the second-tier division last season.

The 2018 Malawi Sports Woman of the Year recipient will be looking to conquer China with her breathe-taking styles of football and eyes for goals, having hit 25 league goals in the outgoing term.
