Manchester United have decided to set up a women's team for the first time in their history to participate in the second division of women.

The club posted pictures of the top players of the Red Devils women's team on Twitter.

The women's team is set to take place at Cliff Stadium in Salford and will represent the team in all European football competitions.

Manchester United have not had a women's team since 2005 but continued to run a full women's section consisting of groups of young people in local schools and community groups.
