(Musa celebrating with his teammates at Al Nassr)

Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa opened his goalscoring account in the Saudi Professional League with a hattrick for Al Nassr on Wednesday.

Al Nassr defeated Al Quadisiya 3-0 in a league encounter at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium, with Musa scoring all the goals to herald his name in the Saudi topflight division.

The Nigeria international gave his side the lead after 21 minutes of action, having received a through pass from Abderrazak Hamdallah before finishing off just outside the box.

The former Leicester City and CSKA Moscow forward increased the lead before the break and completed his hattrick in the second period from Nordin Amrabat's assist.

The victory sees Al Nassr remain on top of the standings with a hundred percent record, having won their first-three matches of the season.

The Knights of Nadj's next league fixture is a home game against Al Taawon at the King Fahd Stadium on Monday, the 24th of September.
