Former France international Bacary Sagna has committed his future to Montreal Impact by resigning a year contract with the Canadian club.
Sagna joined the Major League Soccer outfit in August 2018 following a short spell at Italian Serie B side Benevento and played a huge role in the second half of the previous term.
The 35 years old who represented France at the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup finals, scored once in nine appearances since his move to the MLS.
"I'm very happy to be back with the Impact for one more year. I hope we have a good season and make it all the way," an excited Sagna said on the club's official website.
Considered as one of the top right-backs in the English Premier League during his time at Arsenal and Manchester City, the 2016 European Championship finalist will hope to continue with his impressive start at Montreal in 2019.
