Primera División Femenina strugglers Malaga have strengthened their attack with the signing of Cameroonian star Gaelle Enganamouit.
The 2015 African Women Player of the Year joins Malaga who are fighting for survival in the Spanish women's topflight league from Avaldsnes IL of Norway.
She becomes the third African after
Ode Fulutudilu from South Africa and
Malian star Bassira Toure to move to the Blue and White team in the past few days.
"Striker Gaëlle Deborah Enganamouit is the new addition to the Malaguista ranks, coming to Málaga to reinforce the Blue and White's attack,"
the club disclosed on its official website.
Last season, the 26 years old netted four times in 15 league matches with Avaldsnes in the Toppserien, having joined them from Dalian Quanjian of China.
Enganamouit who has been a regular for Cameroon's Indomitable Lionesses since 2012, has previously played for Spartak Subotica, Eskilstuna United and FC Rosengård.
She helped Cameroon to finish third at the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations and thereby earning a ticket to their second FIFA World Cup appearance in France later this year.
