Spanish topflight side Malaga CF Femenino have officially confirmed the signing of Mali international Bassira Toure.
Toure has signed her first overseas contract after penning a short-term deal with
Malaga from AS Mande of Mali until the end of the season.
She had an impressive outing with the Malian women's national team at the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations in Ghana, which paved way for her move to Spain.
She won the Player of the Match accolade after scoring a double as Mali stunned hosts Ghana 2-1 to reach the semifinals of the AWCON for the first time ever.
At Mande, the 29-year-old scored an incredible 47 goals in 22 Malian women's elite division matches last season.
Following her switch to Malaga, Toure becomes the first Malian female footballer to join the Blue and White team, where she will aim to help the them avoid relegation.
Malaga are 15th on the 16-team Primera División Femenina league log with 15 points from 18 games and they will hope to end their ten-match winless streak against Valencia on Saturday.
